What's happening at the museum?

Diaries at the ready? There is plenty going on at Wrexham's museum throughout July, so why not make a note of any that catch you eye...

Wrexham History Fair
One jam-packed day of history, featuring exhibitions & activities by local heritage groups, stimulating talks and tours, musical interludes, plus activities especially for the little ones.

Bersham Ironworks Guided Tour
Enjoy a guided tour of Bersham Ironworks and learn about ‘Iron Mad’ Jack.
Meet at Bersham Heritage Centre car park where you will be met by our volunteer guide. There will be a short walk to the Ironworks site.
Please note, there are no toilet facilities available at either Bersham Heritage Centre or Bersham Ironworks. We recommend wearing sturdy footwear.
No need to book, just turn up.

Quilters Session - 2: Super  Stitchers
Focusing on three-dimensional items such as a needle case.
Led by: Val Shields
Limited spaces available. Pre-payment required (cash only) to secure booking
£15 per person (includes £5 materials charge & refreshments)

Messy Museum
Painting, sticking and general messy fun for 0-3 year!
This week’s craft : Door hangers.
Drop-in event.

Make and Take
Make a craft with a historical twist at Wrexham Museum.
This week’s craft theme: Brymbo Man’s beaker.
Suitable for families with children.
Drop-in event.

Hands on History
Find out more about some of our collection objects on our handling trolley.
Supervised by our Young Volunteers.
